This paperĀ is divided into three main areas:
- Part I: Performing Arts
- This part assesses knowledge of music theory, including notes on a keyboard, rhythmic patterns, scales, and musical terms.
- It also covers concepts in storytelling, vocal techniques, and the analysis of folksong and group verse performances, including the role of costumes and instruments.
- Part II: Sports
- This section tests learners on various sports, including athletics (Javelin, Triple Jump, distance races), ball games (Football, Handball, Volleyball, Rugby), and swimming.
- It covers the rules, techniques, and sequences of skills for these sports.
- General concepts like fair play, sportsmanship, and the reasons for avoiding performance-enhancing drugs are also included.
- Part III: Visual Arts
- This part covers the elements and principles of art, such as balance, rhythm, and colour theory.
- It assesses knowledge of different art forms and techniques, including landscape drawing, sculpture, animation, fabric printing, and crayon etching.
- Art appreciation and curation, including how to mount and display artworks effectively, are also tested.
