It covers the following strands and sub-strands:

• Foods/Feeding (Weeks 1-2)
  • Food we eat
    • Talked about different foods eaten at home and the importance of eating clean food; appreciated different foods.
  • Eating food
    • Told the importance of eating food and talked about the dangers of sharing food; practiced feeding self.
  • Cleaning the table
    • Observed proper feeding habits and maintained a clean feeding area.
• Natural Environment (Weeks 2-6)
  • Plants found at home
    • Identified types of plants found in the home environment and talked about safe and harmful plants.
  • Plants found at school
    • Identified types of plants found in the school environment and talked about safe and harmful plants.
